Read to Succeed Buffalo is a coalition of over fifty local organizations dedicated to improving literacy in the city of Buffalo. We work with the community to develop and implement solutions that address the literacy needs of people across the entire age span including general literacy, as well as financial, computer, health, and workforce literacy. We believe that improving literacy in Buffalo starts with each of us. We each have a role, and a responsibility, to improve literacy in Buffalo.

Rochester Education Foundation (REF)
Rochester, New York

The Rochester Education Foundation is an independent organization whose mission is to provide resources to improve learning and success for all Rochester city public school students through the cultivation of partnerships between education, business and the community.

Family Literacy Centers, Inc
Orem, Utah

A non-profit, charitable service organization dedicated to the elimination of illiteracy, FLC facilitates the creation of local, independent, and self-funded learning centers. Each center assists families and individuals to effectively read, write and communicate in English with one-to-one tutoring assistance from trained volunteers, teachers, and parents.

Reading Is Fundamental of Southern California
Los Angeles, California

Since 1972, RIFSoCal has improved literacy by helping children discover the magic of reading. Using a network of 3,500 volunteers at 200 sites throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, RIFSoCal annually provides over 165,000 new, free books of choice, together with motivational reading activities, to build the home libraries of more than 55,000 children and their families.
